The Roll Call is an address book where the people in your life fill in their own entry. By using it you agree to these terms. You must be 13 or older to hold an account. You sign in with Google; keep your account secure, because anyone who can get into it can see your address book.
You don't need an account, and you don't owe anyone anything. Submitting your details shares them with that one person — the one who sent you the link — and nobody else. You can ask us to remove your entry at any time at hi@therollcall.io. Please only submit your own information.
Your address book will contain details about real people. You agree to use it the way you'd use a paper address book: to keep in touch with people you actually know. You may not use The Roll Call to build a marketing list, to sell or redistribute anyone's details, to contact people who have asked you to stop, or to collect information about someone who has not chosen to give it to you. We may suspend an account that does.
When you ask someone to confirm their details, you send the message yourself, through your own messages or email. We don't send it for you, and we don't message your contacts on your behalf. Send those requests to people who will recognise your name — one at a time, as you would a text.
You can connect your own tools to your own address book. They can read only what you could already see, never your private notes, and every read is logged. You are responsible for what you connect and for what it does with the information.
We'll email you about your account and, if you asked for it, about the product. Asking for it means ticking a box that starts unticked — giving someone your email address while confirming your details is not asking for it, and we treat those as two separate things. Every marketing email has one-click unsubscribe. The Roll Call does not currently send text messages. [If SMS is added, TCPA-compliant consent language goes here, reviewed by counsel, before a single message is sent.]
See the Privacy Policy for what we collect, who can see it, and how to request access or deletion. You can delete your account and your address book at any time.
The service is provided as-is, and we're an early product — expect rough edges. We limit our liability to the extent the law allows. [Warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and dispute resolution to be finalized by counsel.]
