The Roll Call is getting ready to launch. Right now this site does one thing: it lets you join a waitlist so we can email you when it opens. This policy explains what that involves. It covers the waitlist only; we'll update it before the full product launches.

What we collect

Your email address — the one you type in to hold your spot. That's the only thing we ask you for.
Basic analytics — aggregate, privacy-friendly measures of page views and traffic sources, so we know how many people the launch reached.
Server logs — standard request data (including IP address) kept transiently to keep the site secure and to prevent spam/abuse of the signup form.

We do not ask for your name, phone number, or address on the waitlist.

How we use it

To email you when The Roll Call launches, and the occasional update about it.
To protect the site from abuse (rate-limiting, spam prevention).
To understand how much interest the launch generated.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We use trusted service providers to run the site (hosting, database, email delivery, analytics), and they may process your data only to provide those services to us. We may disclose information if required by law.

Your choices & rights

Every email we send will include a one-click unsubscribe. You can ask us to access or delete your email from the waitlist at any time — just write to hi@therollcall.io. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your information, and the right not to have your personal information sold or shared — which we don't do. Our lawful basis for emailing you is your consent, given when you join the list; you can withdraw it any time by unsubscribing.

Retention

We keep your email until the product launches and for a reasonable period after, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first.

Children

The waitlist is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
